Individual Covers and Notes About Songs

Notes about the music:

"Scattered Memories Pt.I" is inspired by Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under" and is progressive metal / rock. The cover is a parody of their album "Awake".

"Drifting Out of Sanity" is progressive metal / rock / jazz fusion. The cover features Lenore, a gothic humor comic series.

"I am the Thunder" is inspired by Dragonforce and is speed metal / guitar virtuoso. The cover features Thor as drawn by the comic book artist Michael Turner.

"Null Space" is inspired by Fear Factory's "Remanufacture" and is industrial / groove metal. It focuses on the beat trying to capture the feeling of an assembly line like industrial genres should.

"Journey into Dreamland" is inspired by Nightwish and is symphonic / progressive metal. It features two separate covers and is also known as "The Twilight Symphony".

"Two as One" is new age. It was made in attempt to capture the joys of falling in love and features two of the main characters from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles on both covers.

"Sunrise Serpent" is industrial metal / blues rock. It was an attempt to mix two completely different genres with no relations. It features Ginko from Mushishi on it.

"My Mini Cooper" is inspired by Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, and is speed metal / guitar virtuoso. It's a parody of an inside joke from UW with a couple friends however is the highest rated song released. The cover has a Mini Cooper flying out of a donut which is also a reference to experiences in UW.

"Scattered Memories Pt.II" is progressive rock / jazz fusion. It was an attempt to have a constant change while having an icy feeling being released around Christmas time.

"The Cosmic Forge" is industrial metal. It was originally intended to be used in a film that hasn't been put into production so it was significantly changed to fit the album.

"Dance with the Moonlight" is inspired by Dream Theater's "Surrounded" in attempt to capture the feeling the lyrical content has while being inspired by Eternal Sonata having a similar sound to the game's soundtrack. It's also new age.

"Honeycomb Full of Stars" is inspired by Super Mario Galaxy while inspired by Moby's "Blue Paper". It's an ambient piece and features an image of the Tarantula Nebula for the cover. It's to be the last song for "Universe Dreaming".
